Writing an Effective Letter of Complaint
As valuable as money is considered nowadays because it is needed in almost every transaction in the market, people, particularly customers, expect to get the satisfaction they deserve for every service and goods they pay for. As satisfied customers could mean loyal buyer and steady profit, many companies and stores value the opinions of their customers. Thus, it is not surprising to see drop boxes, websites and offices where one can submit their feedbacks on their shopping and transaction experiences such as Letters of Complaint.
Not many customers may know it, but there is a way to write an effective complaint letter. An effective complaint letter is a detailed one, describing the experience so that the reader of the letter would know that you are not inventing a story. As much as possible, if there are people involved in your complaint, mention their names yet make sure that although you are pointing out your concern, you are not attacking the individual you mentioned by saying offensive words about him or commenting on things that are not related to the subject of your concern such as the way he walks, his disabilities or family background.
If you are complaining about a certain product, it is advisable that you mention the date of purchase, the reason of your complaint and the action you want taken.
