Seborrheic eczema or seborrheic dermatitis is a common type of skin disease that mainly affects the scalp but can also affect other areas of the body including face, chest, arms or legs. This dandruff shampoos should be thoroughly applied in the hair and scalp for at least five minutes for two to three times per week. While for infants, it is not advisable to use strong dandruff shampoo since this may cause irritation to baby’s skin. Mild baby shampoos can be used instead; this should be gently applied and massaged in the baby’s scalp.
