Killer Looks on TV

Some men and women would admit to being loyal to their favorite TV shows not because of the superb storyline or the way the characters have grown from season one to season ten. But before the ‘purists’ and sophisticated critics could raise their eyebrows in protest let’s do a short rundown on the femme fatales on TV who not only kick serious ass on the tube, bring nail-biting excitement and a quality yarn to follow but also set an enviable and sought-after sense of fashion:

sydneybristow

Sydney Bristow. No doubt, men and women of all size and ages spy on this world-famous secret agent to catch tips on how to pull off just about any look. Jennifer Garner’s well-loved character has probably gone through any possible transformation that she can when on disguise. She’s had blue, pink and green hair; she’s been dressed as a soldier, a dominatrix and a sophisticated heiress- The only thing that could probably rival Sydney is Robert Downey Jr’s portrayal of an Australian actor who had a skin pigment augmentation to play to be a black guy in the movie “Tropic Thunder”.

Max Guevarra. The Dark Angel does not go through disguises but Max transforms into the genetically enhanced super-babe that she is whenever she trades in her standard baby tee, pedal pants, rubber shoes and bicycle for the all black leather garb, amber black-framed shades and motorcycle.

Ziva David. She wears the usual NCIS uniform- the logoed vest and cap. The character of this no nonsense Mossad assassin goes perfectly with her trusty running shoes and comfortable tee and jeans; definitely a utilitarian person who does not bother much with fashion. But one thing is obvious… anything on Ziva looks good.

Fact: Not everyone was born with “supermodel” written into their genes. This is the reason why the blessed few who do happen to have the aesthetically endowed blood running through their veins are the centers of attention, admiration, envy… not to mention “catwalk fame “money.

If it has always been your dream to become a supermodel and curse your blasted genes for ruining your because your genes… here’s some useful advice:

Quit whining and envying, stop wallowing in the negative. There really is no use in despairing over things that cannot be changed anymore.

supermodel

Think. To be like a supermodel, know and understand what it really is like. Here’s how you do it- Strip her down to the basics: models have flawless skin, impeccable posture, great fashion taste (designers use them to define the latest fashion), character, lean body structures and legs that go on forever that give them a towering height. Looking at it that way makes it easier to come up with your personal plans of action to attain the supermodel good looks. Male hygiene a top priority and stick to eating healthy foods, exercise regularly – all this will give you good skin and a healthy figure. There is no way to make your legs grow longer but if you opt to wear high heeled shoes with shorts or skirts that end above your knees, you would certainly look taller. Impeccable posture only comes with impeccable training. Fashion sense? This all boils down to the way you carry yourself… you may be wearing your best evening gown or simply dressed for the gym, there should be no difference in the confidence with which you carry yourself. As long as you are comfortable and dressed appropriately, know that you look good and make it known to others through your poise and bearing.

Strut it. All supermodels have a catwalk. You may not be in Paris right now, with cameras and bright lights ut remember… al the world’s YOUR stage.
